1991 RCMP SSP

So I was considering the purchase of a new vehicle, again, and picked up the latest copy of the Alberta Auto Trader. Low and behold, I found one of the four RCMP SSPs for sale. I've posted the listing on my Yahoo Group for those that may be interested. Look under "Files". So that makes 2 of the 4 I've located. There are still many of the Alberta 1993s to locate as well as all those other SSPs/B4Cs that were used in Canada. Anyone help in this area? Purchased a B4C since the last time I posted. A 2002. Burnt Orange Metallic. Never used as a police vehicle. Now has just under 1700 miles. Still trying to learn the car and having the same problem that resulted in the sale of my first B4C. Just can't seem to get comfortable. Drove it for several hours on the weekend, with my nephews riding in the back seat. They complained beyond belief. I was sore too. So is this a Camaro thing? Never have that problem with my SSP. John R

Refreshing

I'm just adding information that got deleted when I renamed this blog "Canadian." Rob Z would know what this is about. The rollbars in his 96 were not factory installed but installed by the RCMP post garage. Just a tidbit. Later. John R fandangoforever

Colours

Did Ford use colours on their SSPs other than the civilian offered ones? I'm not talking about putting an alternate colour over the doors or trunk but rather a totally different colour. Go to my Yahoo photo section and see: 1FACP40E7LF191662. Now, is this the extra cost colour Wild Strawberry Metallic, aftermarket, or a special colour? Thanks. John R fandangoforever
